It's a peace of art. Friday lectures is in English. If you go right before the street cleaning time finish you can find a parking spot easy otherwise there are plenary of parking meter or parking spots if you drive around the blocks nearby. Eid prayer is special as the beautiful city of NY assign police officers to close the street where the rear entrance for Muslins to park their cars. There are subway stations nearby as well.
Jumaa/Friday prayer is always at 1:00 pm no matter it's a summer or winter time and doesn't take more than 35 to 40 minutes including the prayer.
------
Friday street cleaning :-
* you have between 3rd Ave and park Ave, street cleaning finishes at 11:30 am, so if you are there at 11:00 you can get a spot
or
* between 2nd Ave and 1st Ave street cleaning ends at 1:00 pm, so if you get there 12:30/12:45 you can get a spot or park on a meter on 2nd Ave where the bus lane restriction starts at 2:00pm... plenty of options.Added June 18, 2017 by Ahmed Allam - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
Obnoxious and rude people. Amazed that any foreigners could treat native New Yorkers with such disdain.

Beautiful mosque with a beautiful gathering of gentle, welcoming souls who congregate here for prayers and worship. It is huge and well-kept. If one has any questions, feel free to call them, they are quite accessible and friendly.
I had the pleasure of living close to this mosque for some time and it was a wonderful experience coming here for Friday and evening prayers during the month of Ramadan. It's lovely to see the diverse ethnic groups of people of all ages come together in the most diverse city in the world.Added January 29, 2017 by Guo m - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
