  • Messages are well balanced with mercy and truth. Pastors lead by example with integrity and honesty. They retained and deepened the late David Wilkerson's vision that love is building this church.

  • Today was my first day attending services here and I am so pleased to announce that my family may have found our new home church. The atmosphere is so intimate and anointed. Thank you very much for making my children and myself feel right at home.

  • I feel sorry for people who come here and vomit lies about this church. The problem is some people do not want to give up their sins and don't want to do what Jesus said to his disciples in Mathew 16:24 " If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me". To many people now just want to listen to a feel good message, and prosperity, when they hear a message about the cross, about their sinful life they put the ministry down. You that said the church doesn't have young people, you are completely wrong. The church have a youth ministry that are call the GATE, please do your research before you say things that it is not true. The point is, even Jesus did not pleased everybody, but remember where ever you go there you are. Find a church that you like, stay there don't keep jumping from one church to another, there is no time to play game anymore! May God bless you all!

This church is run like a business. It didn't take me long to realize all that matters in this church is money and getting attention. I have sat in many services wondering what I was doing there because the word of God was not being preached. The messages were bland, totally lacking in any substance, and constantly said the same thing over and over again: Jesus loves you. Wow, tell me something I don't know! A true believer is hungry for God's word, and is not satisifed with crumbs when they're looking for meat. I wondered why the church never preached hard on sin, which is needed in a place like NYC. I found out that because the church is 501c3 and tax-exempt, the state controls what they can say. They are unable to preach on sins like homosexuality and abortion, other religions, politics, and many of the issues we face today. Why? For fear of having their tax-exempt status taken away. The love of money, not a real love for Christ, is what drives them. When Christ saves you, he gives you the boldness to preach his word in FULL, without fear of anyone, because it is Christ who gives you that authority. But according to Times Square Church, they must get permission from the state on what they can or cannot preach. That doesn't sound quite right, does it?
The pastor rarely intermingles with the "flock" and mainly associates with a clique of people in the higher positions. I say clique because you can sense the divide between the regular people and the ones who enjoy being in the spotlight and holding positions of power. They love the attention and putting on a show. The pastor also owns a 1.3 million dollar mansion in NJ. Does that sound like Jesus to you?
I have heard this described as a cult. That doesn't surprise me. Read the reviews online for the Summit International School of Ministry and you'll understand why people are calling it a cult. I have heard many people claim this church preaches the word of God and that God is in that place. These people, at best, have no discernment, or at worst, they're not saved. They're blind. Let the blind lead the blind, and they'll fall into a ditch. If you have any discernment, and any sense of what I'm saying, get out.
